Social Media Training Tutors
Our full day Social Media Training programme includes the services of two tutors, Daljit Bhurji and Ivan Ristic.
Daljit Bhurji
As a senior PR and Social Media consultant and well known blogger, Daljit specialises in helping organisations to recognise the opportunities presented by the profound changes taking place today in media consumption and creation.
A firm believer that PR campaigns need to reach beyond a sole focus on media relations, he helps brands to strategically utilise Social Media and Search Engine Marketing to better connect with audiences and safeguard corporate reputation.
His Social Media experience spans the Public Sector, FMCG, telecoms and leading technology brands. Daljit was head of Hotwire PR's Digital Media practice, where he was responsible for leading high-impact consumer and business campaigns for clients including Tiscali, Experian and the DMA. Since leaving Hotwire, Daljit has co-founded Diffusion, a PR and Social Media Agency.
In 2008, Daljit was featured in PR Week's PowerBook of the most influential people in PR and described as able to "predict online PR trends before they happen".
Ivan Ristic
With over five years as a PR specialist for the media and marketing industry, Ivan has worked with some of the leading players in the field.
These include helping to re-launch CNN.com, positioning the Financial Times as a serious digital player and presenting Tiscali TV as a strong alternative to incumbent satellite and cable TV providers.
Within the sphere of marketing services, Ivan has built deep industry knowledge and superb media and blogger contacts through his campaigns for Experian, Tamar, Cheetahmail and Clarity Blue. His campaign for online brand protection specialist NetNames secured him the prestigious PR Week Best Technology PR Campaign Award in 2007.
Ivan is head of Diffusion's Media and Marketing Services practices, with responsibility for strategy and effective implementation of integrated communication campaigns. Before joining Diffusion, Ivan worked at Hotwire, entering PR from a background in online journalism and marketing.
