As David Cameron quits politics (possibly) for good, there will be much debate over what his legacy will be.
His supporters might mention gay marriage or a stronger economy. His detractors, on the other hand, might point to food banks or Libya. Many would say that his biggest legacy still depends on the long-term outcome of Brexit.
For those of us working in communications, however, he leaves another very important legacy – teaching us to never forget that the microphone might still be recording.
